This tire has a wide shoulder tread design, circumferential grooves, large tread blocks and twin ribs in center. The pattern of the tread such as this impacts (in a good way) braking, traction, steering, responsiveness, handling, and cornering.
Now, the performance. Considering the rigidity and tread patterns, the N555 is not great for harsh off-road roads. It can be used somehow, but the quality of the ride will not be good. And, the wear will be really fast if used for off-road.
The dry traction is solid, and here we must include the cornering, handling, responsiveness and steering. The wet traction is the same – very good, because there is hydroplaning prevention too. The weakness that is obvious is the snow traxction.
There is not much noise with these tires, but some is noticed, and same goes for comfort, it can be said that it is simply just good.
